I love a good cigar! Smoke about 2-3 per week. It's fun to show the cigar shop owners what I do with their boxes. I tried to sell a couple on consignment at a cigar store but found no takers. CBG's attract guitar players more so than cigar smokers. I usually get good deals on the empty boxes when I also buy a couple of cigars. I want to help keep them in business because without them I've got nothing to work with. I'm jealous of Chickbonejohn showing off his Havana. I'm hoping some day we can get Cuban cigars here in the states.

I'm at 1 to 2 a week, and a few pipefuls since I collect and sell pipes. I am hoping to one day smoke a havana before I go. I do love a cigar though. Everything about them. I brought a cbg into the shop last week, and a guy loved it and asked me to build him a six string. I had it in the shop without even the consignment, but no bites. I only put it in there for a week though. I have sold what I put on etsy, and locals. You have to try the ones in the link I gave blues frog. I can't smoke enough of them and they are two bucks and some change. They taste and smell great.
Also speaking of cigars this week I had some display cases the owner of the cigar shop gave me since I have a booth in an antique mall. They were sitting in the cigar shop and I had nowhere to put them. I had no use for them, but he said I could sell them.He just wanted them out. I wanted to be considerate and get them out of there, so I wrote a funny email imitating those crazy used car guys from the 80s on the commercials to all my fellow vendors offering them the cases in exchange they had to purchase some cigars for me at the shop and leave them at the counter. Needless to say, one girl got mad and asked to be taken off my mailing list, and the owner of the antique mail sent and email all around to everyone reprimanding me and stated no sales are to be made without them getting 12 percent. Ha, 12 percent of a few cigars. I'd just give her a whole cigar to avoid having to cut off the equivalent of 12 percent of three. I felt jaded about their snobbery all day, and then later that evening a girl wrote me saying she thought the message was hysterical, and wanted to get me a few cigars even though she had no place for the cases.
Welp, last night I had my first cigar since around 2002 and...I didn’t like it. I mean, it was fine blowing smoke rings and kicking back for a bit, but it didn’t take long for a real aversion to the taste in my mouth to develop. Kind of made me a little nauseous, even. I ended up not finishing it. So I guess I’m not built for smoking anymore. Which is probably good because I’ve already damaged myself enough with food over the years. I need to move more and stay hydrated, and cigars seem to work against both.
It’s really too bad. I wanted to love it. Guess I’m stuck with eating my vegetables instead of lighting them on fire.
Just occasionally...here I am at our first year at Glastonbury after a pretty good week of sales.. a Havana and glass of Jack Daniels and Coke.

Now thats the spirit Chicken Bone! Nice pick! I haven't been on here in a long time, but it's nice to see you on here. We never met here or anywhere, but I love your videos and have learned a lot from them. I hope you make more.
Well, I did stop by a cigar shop when I was out in California and bought a box as well as a cigar. I have also since bought a humidor with 10 cigars, which was a great deal. Loved he different selections that I got to try. I have since bought different sampler packs, and will enjoy a nice cigar every now and then.
I got hooked when I was given some cuban cigars, which are the best tasting cigars I've ever had. These were original Cohibas, not the red dots, and they were spectacular.
I know cigars are an required taste, but if you want the best taste, a real cuban cigar is the only way to go.

Froggy, one of these days I am going to have to smoke a cuban. I'd send one to my old man because he enjoys puffing on a cigar a couple times a week like I do.
I got hooked last year when a friend of mine that always smoked a pipe or a cigar gave me one that his buddy made. His buddy is a Chinese doctor that came over here and was unable to practice natural medicine, so he grows all his stuff on his own organic and gives it away. His cigars were hydroponically crown without any pesticides or chemicals. Nada. Pure cigar. They were incredible. The cigars are gone now, but I find others I enjoy. Not like those though. They were medicinal it seemed.
Until then I am going to try one soon by Paul Girmirian. I hear he has high standards. I gambled on a pipe lot from another state last week, and there was a pipe stamped with his name, and numbered although he was not a pipe maker. I'm not sure how much it is worth, but it must have been the last pipe the guy, who was called Santa Claus, smoked. There were some good pipes, and the chance I took payed off. If you know the demand and cost of a Dunhill, then you can understand the joy I felt when I saw one with a ten dollar sticker on it. I enjoy smoking a pipe once or twice a week, but since my teeth are in a sensitive state I can only do it once and a while. Cigars you just can't beat. I light one up in the car and take a slow drive through the mountains.
I love to sit back on a Saturday night and listen to music, work on my projects (which of course includes the CBGs) and smoke a cigar every now and then.
Currently I have a sampler selection from Holt's, but I also bought 5 Baccarrats, They have a sugar dipped tip which makes for a nice sweet smoke.
I also like to buy one if I'm at a cigar shop buying a box. My brother had picked up a couple of boxes for me when he was at a cigar shop in Long Island, and I had him get me a cigar while he was at it.
I've smoked a pipe before and still have some around somewhere, but haven't gotten back into that yet.
