Check these guys out! Moreland & Arbuckle

Anybody heard of 'em? They are out of Kansas, and have some really good sounds going on. Their latest album is set for Feb 2010 release, and their label produced this promo video for it. Pretty cool cigar box guitar he's got there! Any idea who made it? I'm guessing JL, based on the pickup config and the 3-1 bass-guitar strings... but I could be wrong. As an aside, I saw these guys back in 2008 at the Telluride Blues and Brews fest here in Colorado. They really bring it, especially for a three piece. They were playing one of the after-hours juke joints, and man that place was jumping! Interestingly enough, across the street that night a Colorado fellow by the name of John-Alex Mason was laying it down, and he also had a CBG with him. He made some comment along the lines of "this town might be one of the few towns on earth at this moment with two bands, each with a cigar box gutiar." CBGs have come a long way in the years time since, and we all know they're gonna keep on coming, too!
