My brother is learning to play the accordion and hes got a big 120 key beast. unfortunately he is only 15 and it weighs a ton, so he can't practice very easily. I've just finished my last project, so i figured i might try to make an accordion in the cigar box tradition.

does anyone have any knowledge of how to make an accordion, what it is that makes them work and if it would lbe possible to make a CBA.

I was wondering about using a harmonica or something like that for reeds.
