Check this place. There's one in Williamsburg. The one I've been going to in Richmond sells boxes for $1 each if you buy five or more. Hope it works out:
Cigar International, I bought 20 boxes, about three of them were of a good size to use, the rest will be small boxes that will be good for nuts and bolts.
i have found a few in flea markets they are usualy costly (5 to 10 bucks) but there arnt any cigar stores near me? and the tobacco strores seem to only have paper boxes.
Do you have any local cigar shops? I'm in the MD/DC area and we have one called Davidus (I think they have 3 locations, all North of DC). They have hundreds of boxes for sale in their front room. Great selection - $3 for wood, $1.50 for paper and they are buy-one-get-one-free! I didn't even think to look there until I was driving by one day and they were literally spilling out the front of the store and stacked against the front window. Another option, I don't know if there is a WBG website but VA has over 150 vineyards. Maybe you could score one of those boxes they ship wine in. I was at the Williamsburg Winery not too long ago but didn't think to look then. It would be a bit bigger than a CBG but that might be good. I've very jealous of Keni Lee Burgess's Jam Box Resonator. Maybe something along those lines?
