Been another long week, very ill at the moment, but I found a spare 3 hours to build something I haven't tried before. I made a Diddley Bass and I'm loving it.
got a big bourbon tin, some 2x1, some bass parts and my standard 25mm Piezo and jack. I drilled out 10 sound holes and it sounds great with the 85 gauge A string on there.
It is fretless, but the fact that it has a 34 inch scale means I have a rough idea as to where to fret.
