A month ago I started a cbg build that I was planning on entering in the County Fair craft competition.
When I got the rule book, they had a 30" ( in any direction) size rule. My stuff generally runs 34 er so inches.
When my daughters decided to enter some artwork, I looked thru my currently available "Outhouse Instruments" inventory, picked 2 I liked and let the family decide between those 2.

We decided on a Tabac Uke with an ash/walnut/ash neck.

Second place in the "Professional Woodcrafters" ain't too bad!

  • Congratulations! I love the tradition of handmade things. Today in our consumer driven economies, it harkens back to the day when people made what they needed with their own hands and the barter system was up and running strong. Maybe I'm being a little romantic, but I just love this stuff. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy.
