Just wondering what the 2.5 w amp board from cbgitty sounds like when distorted. Ive tried other chipmamps and some distort nicely e.g. LM386, but others do not e.g TDA2003.

The fretwire currently being used on an oak fretboard will not penetrate to stay in place despite using the same .023 saw as previous builds.

Read more…So I posted a post about my canjo the other day and the replies have implied moving to a CBG for added fun. However, would a CBG be fairly easy to pick up for a total newbie with absolutely no musical experience except a canjo. I wouldn't go anymore

He told me his grandfather built a cigarbox ukulele in the early 30`s and he has it still.
