Festival Director Steve Plater, is a multi award winning player of stringed instruments, has been building, perfecting, and playing Cigar Box Guitars for two decades or so with many of his instruments proudly owned and played by Cigar Box Guitar lovers.
Starting with a Builders Market from 11am both Saturday and Sunday, there will be an eclectic mix of Victorian and South Australian builders:Black Diamond Cigar Box Guitars,Brookwood Guitars, Chough Guitars, Kingtone Mics and Cigar Box amps, Oz Blues and Roots Music Store Cigar Box Guitars, Salty Dog Cigar Box Guitars, Vinmen Guitars, Callum Lower Guitars
Intermediate and advanced Workshops hosted by Steve Plater are also planned for Sunday starting at 11am.
There will also be Open Mic sessions Saturday and Sunday and Door Prizes.
Another super FESTIVAL LINEUP this year consisting of 8 returning acts from 2018, some travelling from interstate:

SUNDAY from 11am-6pm: RHIANNON SIMPSON, HGT, SUEDAN, STEVE P & THE THREE STRINGS, ANNA SCIONTI
FOR OUT OF TOWN VISITORS: The Ballarat Colonial Inn (next door to the venue) is offering great deals for Festival Ticket Holders who require accommodation.
