On Saturday June 5, 2010 at The The Woodman’s of the World Campground on Reichard Road in Fairplay, MD 21733; the Second Annual Bluegrass Festival with all Proceeds go to The Children’s National Medical Center Foundation. Come out and enjoy a full day of activities with gates opening at 10:00 a.m. with the first band going on stage at 11:00 a.m. Its $ 15.00 a person or $ 20.00 a couple in advance or $ 20.00 a person at the gate. There will be children's activities such as face Paintings, games from 11:00 am-6:00 p.m. Open mic jam sessions throughout the day, so bring your instruments. Door Prizes, 50/50 Drawings, Raffles, & Beer,food and arts/craft vendors on site, and NO COOLERS ALLOWED! Its $ 8.00 for all you can drink arm band if you purchase your ticket in advance or $ 10.00 at the gate. This year's bands include: Raging Creek String Band, Baltimore Bluegrass Band , Bear Hill Bluegrass, CB Pickers, Willie Poole & Durham Station, Ernie Bradley & Grassy Ridge, Blue Shades, and Boro Boogie Pickers. Camping is available. First Come Basis - $25.00 with electric or $15.00 for rough, must pay when you arrive.
