In Brisbane, Palador Fumior Salon (a Cuban Cigars and Coffee Salon -- you can smoke [cigars only] there) has boxes for $5.00 & $10.00, and the money goes to their charities. Several good sizes.
Fish Lane and Merivale St, South Brisbane (diag opp the Bris Convention & Entertainment Centre). Filip is the proprietor.
Open morning and lunch.
(Interested in having Sat morning ukulele/CBG sessions there too).

Baranows Fine Cigars 348 Burwood Rd (cnr Glenferrie Rd) Hawthorn, Vic. Really friendly guys. Had a large box of empty cigar boxes. Gave me 6 really nice ones for nothing.

does anyone no anywhere round canberra to find cigar boxes?
made a guitar out of one of dad's antique ones.. not a happy chappy

I managed to find a supplier of eyelets in Australia which you may be interested in. Contact Carr Australia Pty Ltd 1 Spireton Place, Pendle Hill, NSW 2145 email aimeereilly@carrgroup.com.au ( Aimme was very pleasant and helpful) They have various sizes in brass, nickel plated and stainless steel. I bought some of each of the following - as shown in the photograph. Top row: EY40BR 40mm brass $1.09 each, EY25BR 25 mm brass $0.80 each, GR5TWB #5 Brass 15mm $0.26 Bottom row: EY25GM 25mm gunmetal finish $1.00, EY25NI 25mm nickel $1.20, EY40NI 40mm nickel $1.20 (same price for 25 and 40 mm nickel could be a mistake)

Brass will match any brass fittings on your box.

Nickel will match any nickel or chrome fittings.

I was also able to get a 25mm nickel eyelet and 15mm brass from a local canvas maker. Regards John D
