Play ball

A tribute to baseball in my hometown and the 1944 World Series. The Cardinals is a 4 string (dgbe), 24 inch scale, with a pre-wired magnetic pickup. The Browns is a 2 string (tuned gd), 22 inch scale, with a “red dot” instrument mic as the pickup. Nuts and Cards bridge are cut bone. Pick guards are plexiglass painted from behind. My first project using fret wire, got through CBGitty. Cards won the series 4-2, hence the string number selection.

Very distinctive headstock on the chugger! It will turn heads, that’s for sure. Very original. I like it!!!
