Thanks Danny. Typically, with a mic... you'll want an audio interface opposed to plugging the mic directly into the computer. There are some simple ones like this which a lot of folks like:

However, for the same price you can buy a fully featured audio interface that will do instrument and guitar inputs like this one:

I'd probably recommend going that route if you're going to get into home recording. An audio interface gives you gain control and a lot of other features.

GREAT JOB POORNESS. I AM LEARNING TO USE SOME AUDIO SOFTWARE CALLED AUDACITY, I THINK I AM GOING TO LIKE IT. STILL TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO ADJUST THE SENSITIVITY OF THE MICROPHONE. CANT FIND ANYPLACE WITHIN THE SOFTWARE TO DO IT
