Thanks Daniel. I wrote this back a few years. It has lots more verses. I did it off the cuff at music Monday making up new verses. It came out good. I think i’ll Write some new verses down. I like your song. Maybe try the tune with your lyrics too?

went down to the river, the sun made it silver......cooked up some liver, and broke out my quiver...... inside no arrows, just a long bow....... picked up the fiddle, started to diddle, soon the sweet tone, was making me shiver...... kept watching the river, had a bite of the liver, went back to my bow, and then my new tune, it flowed with the river............then some stray dogs, were eyeballing my liver......played some notes sharp, to keep the dogs off........then uncle john, showed up with his harp............

your song made me write some lyrics. i blame you, can't get the dang tune out of my head.

Thanks Denbo, thanks Pick, thanks Andries. Thanks AGP and Uncle John. The big room is full out reverb. It is an ecotron! I’ll be showing guitars there on March 20. We have an Earth Day sale there from 10 to 5. AGP, the blurry is the resolution. This one is in “standard” res. I use high def when uploading to YouTube when offered the option. Half the time they choose for you. Why?

the building i’m In is an old Carnegy library. From 1907. We’re on the historic registry. The wood floor is an acoustic stomp box 50 ft. Long. The changing lighting is from a church like leaded glass window and sun, cloud windy light show.
