Homemade didjerido? Sounds like an offspring of a trumbone and a dijeridoodah. Great stuff Mr Lynas and very inventive indeed.

Love it, sounds like a manatee having a hairball :)  I'm passing this to a friend, we've talked about something like this to add to our band of noise makers.  Could be a great cabin-fever project.

Cool AGP . When I first started I blew any tube I could find. The vac wand, sunflower stalks, garden hose, Xmas wrap cardboard tubes, etc. at the Renaissance Fest a guy named Ocean Wave had a dij shop. He made bamboo dijs. I got a nice E dij and went at it. Then I started making clay dijs. I have several of those left. All materials sound very different.

Thanks for the tips Dave!, I do have some tubing and fittings in one of my sheds ("somewhere"), from memory I think it might be high pressure swimming pool piping, will look soon  :-)

AGP that young dij player is fabulous! Thanks for the link. I think a single tube dij is where to start. A somewhat short one (key of E) is about 3ft. 5 Inches with a 1 1/4 inch mouthpiece interior diameter. I’ll do a how to on playing one soon. Breaking Wind Works!

"Wowee" a Tromboney type Diggydoo, I think you were nearly just about to be accused of breaking wind Dave!  :-D
