Some of my songs

Hi all.

First off, if posting recordings of your own songs is frowned upon, then I apologise. Let me know and I'll delete. However, if it is welcomed, then......

A little background to begin. I started making and playing CBGs about 3 years ago. I write, record and play live at local bars with an old friend. The live set is very stripped down: vocals, CBG and bass. For recording we get a little more elaborate with production. Neither of us has ever really been into blues, and our influences are worn rather heavily and openly, so any accusations of plaguerising are probably well founded.

The following tracks are all from our self released album from late last year. We are currently writing new stuff, and loving the whole thing.

i really like the few snippets i heard ( i am work) i like it. And i feel were you a

re coming from if you know what I mean, not sure why you say you dont like the blues cos it sounds heavily bluesy with a bit of stone roses and beta band and Jesus and mary chain thrown in

Rick, thanks for the feedback. I am slowly exploring some blues - currently listening to Sun House and Mississipi Fred McDowell. Maybe I'll get converted.
