I built a second and was gonna try frets , but when I stuck a cotter pin in the first fret position I could already see problems. Plus I too do like the fretless feel. I think its great the work you do at the hospital, my mother has been in a few times , she's paranoid schizophrenic. You workers may not be told , but you are doing some real good. It is really hard on the other family members, and you guys are very helpful!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope to chat some more, Steve

At 2:37pm on April 15, 2009, Steve Winchell said…: The bridge and nut are made of deer antler. Easy enough to hacksaw and then you can flatten out a side to sit how you want it with a file or sand it , I used a beltsander on the bridge, then just file some slots for the strings!
