I did this little video to a society in Sweden called Götheborgs Cigarrsällskap (Gothengurgs Society of Cigars). I tried to load it up at my fb-page but it did not work so i simply did it here, and it worked. In the vid I´m making a short description of what a CBG is and play a little bit of "Stag O´Lee Blues(unplugged). This aint a full version of the song (Because I dont set it that well yet...)Hope you enjoy it anyway!

  • "Stagger Lee", also known as "Stagolee", "Stackerlee", "Stack O'Lee", "Stack-a-Lee".The first published version of the song was by folklorist John Lomax in 1910. The song was well known in African American communities along the lower Mississippi River by the 1910s.  It was first performed by Frank Westphal and his Regal Novelty Orchestra in 1923. It's based on the murder of William "Billy" Lyons by Stagger Lee Shelton. Herb Wiedoeft and his band first recorded the song in 1924. "Stack O'Lee" was probably a nickname for a tall person, comparing him to the tall smokestack of the large steamboat Robert E. Lee.
