I'm still working on a 9 volt tube amp that will fit in a acid box. Not easy.

Me 2 I think transistors work in a similar way
But have a lower voltages
It's all about flow of electrons
Transistor were invented and the voltages less making it all a bit
Safer as 400v valve short through ya guitar may hurt!
But they do sound warm and fuzzy
