Well, you do it justice Sir. I commented on your photo too. The builder is Jay from www.tinyguitars.tk. He would be absolutely the perfect person to build another one for you. Small World how instruments change hands. LOL Well, whoever owned it before made a beautiful case for it. Do you think you could email me your contact on ebay for the Viola body? I've been in search for one myself. I look forward to seeing and hearing more of your performances. Truly wonderful stuff. Best Wishes. Break a String. Enjoy, Keni Lee
Hey, thanks for all the positive comments, everyone. If you can do a "Like" at davidgraybeard.com, that would be great. Trying to build a new site to start getting some more gigs in my area. Also, I have a couple of CDs that I hope will be coming out soon. There's going to be a steep discount for folks here at the nation and for facebook followers.
F You know I like my bread and butter
Like meat and potatoes too
But sometimes it ain't enough
Gotta feed that old sweet tooth
Bb7 (But) I want a sweet roll, babe

Served up nice and hot

I want a sweet roll, babe
F
Plenty of sugar on top

I want a sweet roll now mama
Bb7 F
Roll me like you're never gonna stop
I like my tea with whiskey I drink my coffee black
My Jim Beam served up neat
And nothing in my Jack
I have plain oatmeal for breakfast Or simple cream of wheat
Like basic eggs and toast
They're all good to eat
Always come home to my baby After workin' every day
You know I do my duty
But sometimes I want to play
I was wondering if that was yours. Don't know if you remember, but I contacted you awhile back after seeing you play one on a video, asking where I could get one, but you had sold it already. Then I saw it on eBay and snatched it up! The case came with it, and the guy who sold it didn't know anything about it's origins.
It is almost the perfect instrument for me. The sound and craftsmanship are great. I am in the process now of trying to get one made using an unfinished viola body, a wider neck for my fat fingers and a good quality electric pickup. I have no woodworking skills, so I've been trying to find someone to put it together for me. (Found a place that sells unfinished viola bodies on eBay.)
If you know the person who made it, or if it was you, I just want to say a big thank you! I really enjoy playing it.
