  • Wow!! They look Great! I like that tele headstock. The artwork looks good too.
  • That's the same fret method I used on the one I'm working on now. I used a Gel superglue and unfortunately had about 6 of them pop off while I was dressing them. I reglued and they seem pretty stable now. My first build had them glued on without cutting grooves and I haven't had any problems with that one yet. The main reason I cut this time was to make sure they were glued exactly where I wanted them.

    Mark, they are high schoolers... we tried to stay primitive so they could hopefully make them in their garage with basic tools if they wanted... we cut a little groove for the nail to rest in and superglued them... I haven't had a fret pop out yet... although I would also consider epoxy to hold them in if they were popping off...
  • These are great. Are they high school students? Also, are the nails glued to the fret board? If so, what kind of glue was used?
