  • Nice!
  • Thanks John. I am sure you'll see some more up here.

  • That's wonderful. Love the gentle playing. It's a good phase you a going through and it's particularly good to hear how it is going. I look forward to hearing more as you progress with it.

  • nice Keni. thanks alot. I'm familiar with this one. Maybe i will try and transpose it to open D.

thats a nice looking guitar. really cool finish on it. is it a republic?

  • That was awesome I to would like to have one of those guitars someday and dream of making it sound so sweet.

  • Thanks everyone.

Keni - yeah, I have been going through a little bit of a Rag faze right now. I learned guitar rag first about a year ago and have since learned Vestapol and a bastardized version of Leo Kottke's busted bicycle. All three of those songs heavily influenced how this one turned out. I have played it for a bunch of people and so far you are the first to make the connection. But, then, I would expect that from you. If you know any other cool ragtime/parlor era tunes I could learn in open D, let me know. I have alot of fun learning them and playing them.

    thanks again.
