i've officially outdone myself. this is a song i NEVER in my WILDEST DREAMS though of covering on a cigar box guitar, especially with no frets and an open tuning, and even less so in the rare "open A" tuning that i use.. but here it is!thank you guys so much for watching, you make it all worth it! with every video, i'll prove how much you can do with a few spare parts and a little talent!this guitar was made a few days ago following my own time proven design (Uncle Crow style), using eye bolts for tuners, five bolts, and a cigar box. the videos can be found on my youtube channel. message me with any questions.i can't wait to see what you guys do next!

thanks guys! yeah my build method is quick but its only as dirty as he builder lol. actually the build method has been refined several times and is so practical and reliable that I no longer worry about any other features or methods, I focus now mostly on my playing. the only learning curve to my design is the tuners, however using friction tuners of any kind always takes some getting used to. soon, I plan to put together a new video, all built in one shot rather than 8, along with text-only and illustrated sets of instructions, so keep an eye open!
have a great day guys!
epic man. its mad what CBGs can do aint it? i like to chuck my gits into A when i build them coz it throws a nice clear strum out and gives you a good gauge of the resonance your going to get from the body.cool that you have the neck outside of the box.not seen that much.10/10 dude, for both the song and the git.
DUDE!!!! You just rocked my favorite OZ song on a CBG! Outstanding! Now I'm going to have to check out your page and pics too. Looks like a nice, quick and dirty method of building that yields great sounding results. Fandamntastic! Keep 'em comin' man.
