Bought this the other week here in Glasgow for £20. Bit of a hybrid, I think. Action so high, can only be played with slide. But some sound from her! :)

Thanks, Tor. I am not a builder, or fixer etc, but even MOI could use that method with the iron! lol Only paid £20 for guitar, so could "experiment a little. But quite happy ta use slide, maybe even play Dobro lap style :)
To me that´s a real Treasure! Looks cool and sounds real good! By the way..I´ve red about a easy way to straighten the neck,If you´d like to get the strings hight down a bit.I´ve never tryed it myself..so if you go for it... What you need is an iron and a towel, put the towel at the fretboard down where the body and neck joins, then heat up that area a bit with the iron and check if it get straighter! But hey, as long as it sounds as good as it do with the slide, the method probably isn´t needed at all! Real cool amp to!!
Cheers, Rtz, ma man. Need be a slide/vocal number uplaod, as gitar unplayable re action for fretting :) Dobro territory, so may use it lap playing now and then .
Thanks, James. How about a wee upload from using the parlour guitar. Ah would like to hear you play semi acoustic: imagine would be a "treat". And know you like to ROCK, but I would love to hear you do a trad number, Amazing Grace etc, on acoustic.
BTW, thanks for compliment re slide. That means a lot comin from a player like you (no offense, Clock, Bug! lol)
@Bug, yes, tuners are for classical/nylon. Obviously, this is a hybrid, put together, But does seem like a "one build".Tho, even with nylon strings, this guitar is totally unplayable, (slide only). Its a puzzle, ma man!
Can only assume bridge (Antoria or not) is a replacement, and original bridge was a bit lower, and more in line with traditional classical bridge.Obviously, pickup etc been added. Don't think guy that sold me it (in mid twenties re age), knew much about it! Probabaly found it in a loft or something! Can only assume steel/bridge adaption, was done for slide, by a previous owner, long time ago. So a fellow brother in arms. looks like, Bug, ma man :)

It might be an Antoria they used to have similar bridges with the screws showing...
Its probably never meant to have steels on it hence the action ..bet it hasnt got a truss rod?
