The classic Roland MicroCube and the new Tomsline DSP 10W go toe-to toe. I've always loved my Microcube, but it's got a bit pricey these days, so here's a contender for the mini amp title.

  • In my opinion the Toms line has a lot more bottom end than the Roland and this is one thing that let's the Roland down . Don't get me wrong . It's a cracking little amp . I have 2 . I think the Toms line is the better sounding amp .

    Just my opinion guys .

  • The Tomsline is a bit brighter toned than the Roland(if they had the same treble/mid/bass settings) which could be the circuitry or the speaker used. That can be a plus or minus depending on user likes/dislikes.

I think that the Tomsline is very comparable to the Roland from the sound/tone test and the price is better.
