Jim Shady (yes HIM of the Sunglasses Revisited" fame!!), playing lead guitar over my backing track of voice and guitar, singing some blues. I could not sing "live" as ah had a hangover, and felt "half deid", and had not even "pulled into Nazareth".BTW, ah wis dissapointed wi the result. That wee bugger Shady drowned oot ma vocals. Still, the boy is good, so ah may ask him back.

  • ps: yeah,  ready , shreddy, go !

  • Thanks, RTZ, ma man. Ah'll check out prices of MDR-V6.

BTW,  same for me, as re palying and singing same time. Vocal booth?! Use ma cludgie, RTZy,ma man. Ah sing while ah s**t ; neighbours get free entertainment every morning at 8.30am, or 7.30am if ah had a curry the night before! Cheers again :)

  • Shuggy the shredder

  • Sony MDR-V150  $26

This it what i use I have 2 pairs. Sony MDR-V6 Monitor Series $68 these are in every radio studio.

The V6 are good for when your singing they don't bleed into your vocal mic

The best tip i can give is try to keep everything but your vocal from getting in your vocal mic background sound headphone p.c. whatever you'll like your recording alot more when your get a clean vocal track. I sure like me you don't have a vocal booth, I tend to play and sing at the same time and it can be problematic. Goodluck

  • Ah'm NOT recording in any FIELD, RTZ, ma man! Besides pickin up the sunds of cows in the background, what do ah do when the bull comes! (The cows would know what to do THERE, ah guess!!) lol lol

But ta for advcie, if ah can be serious for a min........MINUTE OVER! lol

Btw (serious again), best headphones to buy for Tascam (within reasonable pice range), Rtz , ma man?

  • Have not suffered a hangover in 2.5 years and thankfully I don't remember them.

If you want to record more then 4 tracks think about the stereo field before you bounce your tracks together.

  • RTZ, ma man. Ya should know that when a Glasgow hangover is REALLY bad, us Glaswegians know NOT to keep still: if we do, we can DIE!  Re multitarck, need to be Hobo just now,a s still getting hang of ma new Tascam! l Soon ah'll be "bouncin" all over the place, just like ma dancin! lol

  • Bug, ma man, its not the IRONING on ma keyboard that melts it. Its ma Jerry Lee fingers, closely followed by ma  libido!   Wait a minute, that's a daydream!! lol

  • Must not of been much of a hangover your standing moving and the sun is shining in .

Hobo multi tracking at its best.
