This is me playin' a song I wrote on my Tele CBG "Smokey" unplugged (I know...no sound holes and she's an electric...but she's loud enough). Sometimes I try to write a song by picking a word and an emotion. I thought of the Billy Joe Saver song "Ragged Old Truck" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6oadm3... and then I though I should write a song about a pickup truck. So I decided to try and write a love song about a pickup truck. First I tried to write a song about some guy's wife leaving him and the guy being upset that she took the truck...then as I was playing around with it it became the lovely little story you have before you. Thanks. It is copyrighted and I am working on recording a polished up album. Glad you like it. As for your friend, "Getting Under Her Is What Got Me Over You" sounds like a very funny song.

I really enjoyed that. I write music myself...have been for 26 years now and I'm telling you that you need to copy-write that and shop it around Nashville! That song reminds me of the work of a guy I knew in Carolina. He has actually has been recorded by Reba and a couple others, but no hits yet. When I saw him last he was working on song called "Getting Under Her Is What Got Me Over You." Great guy, great song. Keep up the good work!
