Vinnie, you got a cam in my house? You pretty much nailed it. Yep, that's me: blazing away at a snail's pace. It's not my brain that's slow, it's my fingers; they're like teenagers: they don't like being told what to do.
You don't wanna see what the inside of my dome looks like, but I can give you a description that fits: a moody, lava-lamp-lit combination of Olivander's Wand Emporium, the ancient library at Alexandria, and anything from last season's American Pickers.
Experienced? You have no idea.
Yeah, I gotta rip the audio from a coupla Vinnie's vids, then record me singing some of the lyrics I've written to them. It's hard finding quiet time and space, especially on vacation at the relatives'. Just now though, I'm gonna get up and work quietly for a bit on a tune in DADGAD, which believe it or not I've never used before, on my new Humidor Guitars 6-banger.
Duck ,Hey that's a great idea ,an Oily and vinnie collab...Oily?Sorry Duck,Ron takes a littlemore time than most to sort these things out, process them if you will, mull them over, hash out the details, develop aplan of attack, wait for the kids to syop sayin hey dad , that's the 40 th time you played that today, not to mention the poor wife ..lolol
Wow! I'm thinking that Vinnie playing background and Oily up on stage in a coffeehouse reciting poetry would be a quick flash into the '60s. You two should do an album together sometime and include some incense in the sale to increase the intensity of the experience...You are both experienced, aren't you?
Or, perhaps my typing hand simply got taken over by the ghosts of Tom Wolfe and Malcolm X (as told to Alex Haley)...then again, perhaps I'm just a soon-to-be-incinerated planet raper whose unGodly efforts at providing the world's energy and the resultant myriad uses for petroleum (the wig-wag Internet by candlelight is gonna be sooo much fun, kids!) will undoubtedly cause the karmic balance of the Youniverse to be redressed.
Vinnie, you may play something appropriately groovy at my funeral, right alongside the bagpiper. >:-E
