Thanks Mr. Bug. This is my go-to guitar now and someowhere in the range of my 12th build. I stopped counting awhile ago and just use vague numbers when someone asks. Keeps me in good with the other people in my house and I figure once you've built more than three you are your own special kind of freak so four, five and on make no greater difference.
Thanks turtlehead. Yes, I believe the hat is working. "Need a hood for your engine", as the good Captain Beefheart said. I want to keep working with this song a little and I think it will get better as I get more confident with it.
Thanks Wes. I enjoyed doing this one. I have been thinking of a way to do this one for quite awhile and it just sort of clicked this weekend. I was inspired by a weekend visit from my sister. While we were talking about some things she offered, "What people think of me is none of my business." I really liked that and after an hour or so of fiddling with the chord changes, I had something I sort of liked.
