I could try sampling it...whattaya need? A couple bars of swing, straight, sixteenth-note swing, slow, fast, with or without wah effect? Keep in mind it takes me about a zillion punch-ins to get through a three-minute song with this device, so there's going to be some jankiness, beat-wise.
Pickup's in the back, on the metal a couple inches below the wooden part.

Cool fancy sampling me some of this, to play to?... where the pickup?
Hmm...maybe I should try building one? Never much cared for the neighbors two mailboxes up the road. :-))
Jason: she won't until you plug it in. At that point, people a mile away will know what you did.
Love it man!!!! Guess Im gonna have to take my wifes washboard deco off the wall and see if she misses it.. :>)
Yeh love those sounds....let's do a song!!
eK: I could do that, or use it to add some terrible disco noises. Ka-chikk'a vs. waka-jawaka...
Mike: yeah, I noticed that as well. Took me about two minutes of playing the thing to think, "Man, I wish I'd'a put that jack somewhere else."
The perfect thing for adding in some nightime 'swamp noises' and atmosphere to the mix.
Ka-chikk'a-caw-caw!
Hmmmm...
Out in de bayou
By a hollar' log
Wit' a one-eye cat
And a three-legged dog
Ka-chikk'a-caw-caw!
Hmmmm...
Lives a voudon witch
Name of Madam LeBeau
An if handsome Jack
Don't leave her alone
She say: Skreeeeeee-yah!!!!
...And another man done gone!
Hmmmm...
Ka-chikk'a-caw-caw!
:-))
It sounds really good. The one suggestion I would give is to move the amp cord to the bottom of the washboard so it is out of your way more.
Nuts is good;-)
