A demonstration of my first cigar box instrument build, an Electric Tenor Cigar Box Ukulele (CBU001). I provide a bit of background on the ukulele's construction and give a brief performance to compare its acoustic and electric capabilities.As my starting point, I consulted Mark Frauenfelder's helpful article on how to build a traditional cigar box guitar in MAKE magazine, issue 21, then made some modifications to suit my needs.
