Thanks for the comments. Keni i remember seeing that banjo a while back... really nice sound to it. I'll try metal strings on the next one im also thinking about drilling a smallish sound hole in it (about 1" diameter) i feel that will give it a richer tone.

Wonderful build. I really like the look of the tuners and headstock. It looks right out of the Foxfire book series, except yours is a finer instrument. Definitely, a larger deeper can would be better for the tone. Sweet playin' too. I sold this Canjo on ebay a while ago, but I think you might enjoying watching the video. This is my friend Gill playing. He appears on my Good & Evil CD too. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy.
