  • Sounds sweet...

(those swampfrogs are noisy in the background... must be big?)

    Like the string mix idea...

  • Sounds nice like the string and tuning combo.

  • Well named, well played! I wanna go again!

  • I am going for a warmer tone on this build.   The string set is a standard set of Acoustic steel strings (Martin Lights), using the 6, 4, 3, then 2.  tuned  E B e g#.  The 2 is a nylon string.  I felt it gave a warmer tone than using metal here.  Capo up to G and she sounds just as sweet.

I did write the tune, based it on a piano piece i wrote some time ago.  There is a longer version of the song in my recording section i think.

    Thanks for the comments.

  • String set gives a bit of differant sound i like it.

  • good stuff man   ;-)

  • Lovely sound and song.Your own? If so, I'm envious.

Also couldn't help wondering about that nylon string. Could you elaborate on that design decision? And are the other two strings standard steel or are they the alloy wrapped type that normally comes with a nylon string set? Nosy people (like me) want to know. :-))

  • Sounds fine, very fine. Lovely tune as well.

  • thats a bird i hear, i was wondering what it was. nice sounding instrument and very well played !!!
