Oh, forgot to answer the question about tuning. It came to me tuned in open F (CFAC) and I liked it. Same intervals as DGBD, which is like the middle four strings of the Open D tuning I use on guitar.

Thanks for the encouragement. No, I'm not handy at all. I bought the CBG a couple of months ago from SecondHandCBG.com. The quality of the box is as good as my Taylors, and I play it more than them now. The only thing I'd like to do is replace the pickup with something of better quality. The piezo pickup amplifies the sound when my slide hits the fretboard.
