I don't want to die alone. My daddy told me, “You reap what you sow. (x2)But I didn't listen. Now I'm a sick and homeless hobo.I'm a bad apple. Far from the tree. (x2)I wasn't raised up to turn out this a' way....I was raised up right, but it didn't sink in. (x2)They raised me for Heaven, but I was bound for sin.I shoulda gone home - a long time ago. (x2)A thousand miles as the crow flies, but I'm no crow.I'm sick and I'm broken- and trying to go home. (x2)A thousand miles as the crow flies, but I'm no crow.A thousand miles as the crow flies. I don't want to die alone.........................."About 200 dead crows were found dead near Boston and there was great concern about the possibility of “Avian Flu”. They had a Bird Pathologist examine the remains of all the crows and he confirmed the problem was definitely not Avian Flu. However, he did determine that ninety-eight percent of the crows had been killed by impact with trucks and only two percent were killed by impact with cars. The city of Boston hired a Ornithological Behaviorist to determine why there were such disproportionate percentages for "truck versus car" kills. The Ornithological Behaviorist determined the cause in very short order. When crows eat road kill, they always post a "look-out crow" in a nearby tree, to warn of any impending danger. His conclusion was that the lookout crow could easily say "Cah", but he could not say "Truck"!"
