I used A and D strings (tuned to F and C)It's plugged into a Roland Micro Cube with some phaser and delay.Btw the cider was Aspall's Suffolk Cyder (yes they spell it with a Y?!)...and the bottle did make a good slide!...the glass is nice and thick (about 4mm) and it's narrower than most beer and wine bottles...if you have larger fingers it might not work as well..although you could always cut the knobbly bit off the top...or use it on your little finger. The jury is still out on whether I want to do more building...sawing and filing and back problems don't mix too well, but maybe with a few better tools...and if I just do a bit at a time......

thanks Warren...yeah I've got the disease!!...love the moment when it suddenly changed from a box and a bit of wood, into an instrument : -)....and playing it for the first time was such a buzz!!!
Congratulations on your first CBG build! It's a very good feeling to play your own build. Enjoyed the tune also. Wow, slides, amps, and a guitar. In the immortally butchered words of Pink Floyd, "Welcome to the disease" ;-) Cheers.
