Yup Andries. Finding what works for you is the right thing. I like the bass side often but lately I’ve been using the BGD strings. I liked GDG on it myself. You have it sounding Ekery :*)

Thanks Uncle! got it from early Bluegrass lyrics, there are two other versions of one ill have a try aswell ,its writen byThomas Rufus, and there is the version by the Stones, i like that a lot ,but its 11 couplets , how does that jagger guy remember all those words?? you know real 60 vibe Starts off Baby Back, Dressed in Black, Silver buttons all down her Back, High hose, tippy toes, She broke the needle and she cant sew, Walking the Dog !!

Thanks dave ! Yup been playing it sins she landed ,making it mine so to speak like we all do ,put some topneck white dot position markers on the neck, and those strings where to Bass like harsh for me! put some slip and sliders on to , not have to put to much strain on the tuners they can not take the high tension believe he does best whit GDG ,tryed EAE ,and FCF  but they where hard to play , maybee i put a light electero set on then i can vibrate the strings more work in progress Thanks again Dave ! still smiling !!
