Video composition test using IRig 2 for music and movie making.

Using the IRig 2, IRig Recorder and Film Maker Pro to make a “movie” from images. Just a test but feel like my “noodling” had a bit of a breakthrough halfway...

Thanks Richard. I found Filmmaker Pro pretty intuitive to use so an app without too much of a learning curve. My favourite type lately haha. I’m going to try to upgrade for more features soon but need to wait until I have the funds to do so. I’m looking at iMovie now too after Mr Lynda’s suggested it. Looks like it’s the app from Apple made specifically for this type of job so worth a look at least. Sounds like, with what your good self and the wonderful Mr Lynda’s are saying, a mixture of both means I’m at least barking up the right tree.

Thanks again Richard. I appreciate your support and encouragement. Truly.

Another fine video with great audio tones and fine playing Bear! I’ve used Filmmaker Pro for a long time now, love it! It’s an amazing video making app and the more you dig into it, the more you find. A lot of stuff for free, and for $15-20 a year more, some really cool effects.

Thanks James. I appreciate your kind encouragement. Pleasantly surprised with the noodling on this occasion too. Thanks again my good man! :o)

Thanks Keith. I was just noodling along using IRig and headphones and surprised myself with this tune. I’ve played the tune the same way over and over but it seemed to morph into what you hear here after the first couple of run throughs of twelve bars. It really felt like a huge breakthrough while I was playing it and afterwards as I listened to it back. Really happy to hear myself progress too. Lord knows I put enough playing and practice time in! Haha.

Thanks again Keith. I really appreciate your words of encouragement. More so than I can say!

You’re too kind, Jim, but I’ll take the “cool” comment all day long. Excuse me whilst I put on my sunglasses for the rest of the reply haha.

That’s half the problem I think Jim. Technology and what you can do with it is growing at such a pace that I feel like I’m constantly playing catch-up. I just say upgrade what you can, when you can, when you feel you need to and when you want to or can afford to.

Hope you manage to upgrade if that’s what you choose to do. I love what you do anyway so I look forward to hearing and seeing your posts no matter what you decide!

 Thanks again my friend.

I might need to upgrade my out of date stuff. This is pretty cool!

Thanks again Andries. New age Bear. I likes me some of that!! :D

Thanks for the break down on your workflow when creating videos, Dave. I’ll find that really helpful as I have both of those apps already installed. I did have a little play with iMovie late last night but couldn’t figure out how to make the still images last more than about 3 seconds so needed lots of photos to make up a test video of the same length as this. I’ll figure it out and follow your workflow and see how I get on. I appreciate the advice immensely.

I hope you like the IRig Dave. I really like it but always worry when I recommend something that someone may try it and hate it haha. Look forward to hearing what you produce with yours my friend. I shall await your uploads with baited breath! All the best with it :o)
