Magnetic Violin Pickup
Hey.... new stuff here! This pickup system consists of two components: The electromagnetic sensor (a Flatpup) and a ferromagnetic clamp to transmit the vibes from the body to the sensor. I've submitted a patent today. Happy me!

That is some gorgeous sound you're pulling out of that box fiddle. I've heard concert instruments that (to my ears) didn't have that much character or sonority. Further proof of the versatility and "rightness" of your Flatpup design.
