"Miss Loretta" - cool. Definitely sounds like she was worth saving. ;-)

Loretta was a landfill find? How bad was she? Reminds me of my garbage find "swan" I rebuilt. Worth the trouble.

Great John. Like I said before, keeping it real. Thank you. Nice to see the six string Landfill Lorretta.

Thanks, Andries, Pick, Poorness, Roy and Dave.  You guys are too kind, but thanks again.

Andries, I can oblige folks with a lot of Gospel and some old country and lots of blues and old timey.  BUT:  I see folks younger than me now as nursing home residents and it's time to learn some simple, and well known pop or rock songs.  I am slowly trying to learn a few.

Poorness, in the county we moved from the landfill guys had an area where they sat aside useable or possibly useable stuff.   I got Lorretta from there with a broken tuner or two and the heel and belly separating.  I sprayed made her playable, sprayed he black and added the Gitty electrics.  I don't know what brand she was.

Roy, as good as you are now, it is surprising that you were apprehensive about performing.  But I was scared earl on and most of us were.  I will look at that song too.

What Road Rash said is true for many Uncle. You are at the heart of Nation. You inspire and bless us all. Thanks Unc.

Uncle John, I would be humbled and honored if you would play "Loretta" with me.

I've told you before, but I will repeat:  I watched your videos on this site for years before I joined and was inspired by your builds and performances to start building and playing cigar box guitars myself.  You gave me the courage to make videos and play in front of people.  Your comments on every single video I ever posted here have given me the confidence to become a performer.  I cannot thank you enough.

So, I'll be working on Townes Van Zandt's " Loretta".  I'll let you know what key and other particulars.  Let's do this!
