Tube amp. Several guitar refurbishes. 16 cigar box amps. And finally I've built my first Guitar

UPDATE. I started working with cigar boxes building amplifiers. I love the versatility of the cigar box. And the art work on some of them is amazing. Almost the best part of building with the cigar box, is shopping for the cigar box. I've expanded into building Suitcase amps as well. I have one 18 watt tube amp under my belt as well. I've finally completed my first proper cigar box build. I cannot wait to start building the next one.

Thanks Angelo. I don't think I have enough stuff built to warrant a $50 table. I've actually been moving some of my stuff through my Facebook page now. That being said, I may get over to that show since I'm next door in Oshawa.

Still having the same issue. I always do my testing with a 9v battery. Feels safer. This time I bread boarded the circuit and got the same thing. I'm wondering if it's my speakers can't handle the output when the second gain circuit is engaged. They are real low wattage speakers. I'll have to try to find some 10 or 15 watt speakers and try it.

Did you find the problem you were having with the amp build of my schematic?

Was playing mine the other day and started getting some squelch type noise, it was from the walwart I was using. It was a Radio Shack purchase from a couple years ago and it just quit working altogether. Plugged in a battery and all the bad noise disappeared. Must have been some oscillation from the walwart as it was going out.
