I recon tap off from the output of the guitar on the way to the amp, into a small preamp a copy of the guitars signal .

and then feed this back into a small coil to induce a magnetic field, that will induce movent on the strings without any noise feedback..

Alternatively I have another silly method, that should give you all a laugh, depending on your sense humour!.......So I now have 3 way of achieving something ebowish!!!
