Something Old and Something Blue

I love this youtube link hope you like it too.

For years blues men and wormen have been redoing old blues song and changing them slightly to suit them. This is where the blues came from and will always hold its roots.

Blues men learnt from each other copied and borrowed riffs to avance their own music. Elvis is a good example, and early Beatles.

Blues is a feeling, feel some blues it is much more than just notes on a page!

Chuck Berry said he was trying to emulate a piano when he created his sound. (rock&roll)

I believe slide playing was a happy accident and does sound like a voice and fretted blues was emulating rag piano but much slower. Add tribal beats or chants then depressed lyrics from a poor man with a 1 string board.
