Man, you're right about the tools. I never put stuff together in my life; not since I built plastic model kits as a kid. I was dangerous with power tools, so I didn't have any. Still just have a drill (with which I'm resourceful). So everything is by hand, which slows things down; maybe a good thing, because I probably make fewer mistakes. But I made one today oversizing the hole for the neck in my next build. It's kinda fun to figure out how to fix mistakes; and there are no rules! so who says it's a mistake?! I'm using a couple of drill bits and a chisel to do some inlay around sound holes. A router would be trick! Adieu!
Thanks for the encouragement, guys. Resos, eh? That is ambitious, Larry, but very cool. Boy, you sure find what tools you're lacking when you take on these projects. I'm keeping my eyes open for a used router. It's sure a fun craft though. I have plenty of room for improvement!
Nice First Build! Hope you had fun putting it together, since that's the point of all this. I'm working on my second build now with parts for four more lined up. I like making reso's --- extra challenge --- though it's hard to find the right size box. Keep buildin'!

Larry -as Bob Ross used to say, "there are no mistakes, just happy accidents" Git sounds great Nano...
