Learning to play

Hi,

I'm on my first build, a three string, I'm a complete beginner, my favourite sound is finger style slide blues, I have been researching lessons and courses to get me going and have come across  learncigarboxguitar.com can, any body recommend this site?

  • I enrolled in Pat Curleys Course. The lessons are well organized, and planned to progressively build your skills. Once you pay, there are a variety of programs to follow, so you can work on the type of skills and playing style that you like. He also sneaks in some theory. I enjoy it and recommend it.
  • Hello Garry,

I have no experience with that site. I have been casually working my way through the resources on this site - http://www.cigarboxnation.com/page/how-to-play-cbg - and enjoy the broad array of expert resources.

The only thing I can imagine a 'pay' course should have (that might be harder to find in a smorgasbord of options) is a clear progression of skill building and their matching assessments. No matter which resources you use, good luck! ...and have fun! :-)
