One day, after working at the music store, I came home to discover that Bo Diddley had died. The news really put a cloud over my day. Upon reading the article of his passing, they commented on his playing on a Cigar Box Guitar in his youth, thus explaining his preference in guitar shapes... This intrigued me. I Said "I can do that." Well, the day, I was at the smoke shop and Lowes, thre days later, Diddley King #1, was born. A week , later, two more followed, then I got online and start looking around. Aparently (and THANKFULL!!!) I wasn't the only freak on the planet that got addicted to building and playing an instrument limited by nothing more than your imagination and craftsmanship. Now, my closest friends are telling me to go all out, quit my day job, etc. and BUILD CBG's full time.I am doing just that.Maybe a lunacy commision should be called out on me, then maybe, just maybe NOT. MAYBE, I might have a shot at actually making enough to feed my family at this! And MAYBE, it won't let me down.....That's all for now,Gary
I understand the getting hooked. My first is not going as fast as 3 days but i have 3 more in mind. Best of luck to you. You have some good looking guitars and no doubt in a great location. Rock on !
