Crosely portable record player question

Can I hack. A crosley portable record player into a guitar amp? It's a newer one with a USB input its not vintage but it looks cool. If so how could I. The volume pot like you do with the old radios

If you're not going to use the record player anymore snip the leads to the needle and go thru it.
