Hi Chris - thanks for your comment - the neck on that one does have an "arch" shape and is fixed only at each end so the bridge isn't against the neck. That is what accounts for the tone. I have just started doing it that way although I have had good results the other way too

Hi Chris - thanks for yoru comment. The strap was home made - it was a leather belt we found in a charity shop (I am always looking out for bits of leather like that) and plaited the ends to the right length - really comfortable and it suits that guitar

Thanks Chris. So far have only built for myself and it is a blast. I like your 6 string. may have to give a 6 banger a try. I'm not much of a player and for sure not a singer. I'm very impressed and jealous by someone who can do both!
