"If you want to use the wiring scheme you supplied for 2 jacks, omit the Red and the switch. Run the bass pickup's wire from it's volume straight to it's jack. You would have 2 separate circuits controlled by they're volume…"

"Thnx for the diagrams, so my plan should work... ;-)Although I dont understand it... When I put the pot of the bass pup down to the ground is the signal of the high pup not also on the ground (direct to the switch)?"

"If your doing each pickup to a separate volume and jack, then no switch is needed. Just use the volume to add and take away signal. Of course 2 jacks aren't needed in this scenario unless you want to isolate each string to different amps Or use…"

"I have a 6 string semi-hollow guitar that has 2 electric magnet pickups wired to 1 lug of a stereo jack and a piezo on the other lug of the stereo jack. I use a stereo to 2 mono Y cable running the piezo to one amp and the other signal to another…"

"What would be the advantage of this setup? Unless your going to have a string for guitar and a string for bass, I don't see any benefits for having a pickup, pots and jack for each string. So what are your thoughts on why it would be a good…"

two picksups - both or separate

Hello communityMy next build: a 2-stringer with two pickups, one for each string. They should work together (simple connected or via blender) to one output jack and (maybe switchable) as two individual pickups with separate output jacks (connected to two different amps). Would be great if they got individual volume controls for both situations...Any ideas, experience or tipps?BIG THANKS for every input ;-)See More

Eigentlich ist das bauen jetzt nicht so schwer. Ne Slider geht relativ einfach. Einzige Challenge ist die Intonation hin zu kriegen. Meine nächste wird ne bundierte 4 Saiter. Das ist schon schwerer.
Müsstest mal meine testen, wäre interessant ne andere Meinung zu hören.

Danke. Die erste war ein Glücksgriff glaub ich. Die klingt auch unverstärkt wirklich gut. Ich spiel ja normalerweise Gitarre und das nicht lang, aber es macht echt Spaß mit den 3 Saitern rum zu spielen. Und man lernt sliden + das Gefühl für Musik. Sollte man Gitarrenschülern für 6 Monate in die Hand geben bevor sie ne Gitarre kriegen .....
