How did you learn about Cigar Box Nation?: Justin Johnson's site

Now own two CBGs - a hand-built effort with half a Fender Precision p/up mounted above the strings and one of those 'Electric Blues Box' guitars, which left Chickenskin John speechless in his review of it.

The 'Blues Box' sounds great through a trem pedal and a dirty setting on my amp and holds its tuning pretty well. The home-made one is fretted and a more versatile instrument, but cost rather more than £20.00!
