My first build, he says proudly. If it sounded one quarter as good as it looks I would be happy indeed; as it is I'm glad to have made most of the beginner's mistakes on this one. The next one will, after all, involve an actual cigar box...

Comment by Wal Callaby on October 8, 2017 at 10:21am: Do you know, I've only had a metal slide on it so far (Shane Speal Stubby no less!) and I do have a couple of nice ceramic jobs... You may have to wait a day or two so's I can come up with a third-rate Beetlejuicy idea...

Don't get me wrong, I'm in no way disappointed. Incredulous that I've built a musical instrument yes, but disappointed? Hull, no!
